Album Review: After Wednesday Releasing New EP – Vampires & Architects
After Wednesday will release their new three song EP, Vampires & Architects, Thursday June 6th, 2019. A follow up to the November 2018 single release “Heart to Find“, Vampires & Architects hits the ground running with “Vampires,” a whimsical guitar sounds and bright chimes of the cymbals, the deep bass chords pull alongside the kick drum to perfection. Next up is “Architects” a powerhouse pop rock tune that will surely be a crowd pleaser. With lyrics “don’t let go when the bridge is down/ all it goes to show that/i’m on my way today” you’re uplifted listening to the song, a great motivational tune that I can already see the crowd singing back to the band. Vampires & Architects wraps up with “What Do I Do” another killer track from the three piece band, the vocals from Patrick Wilson lure the listener in and the intense breakdown between the verses boots up the energy into a frenzy of a wild and vibrant conclusion to the EP.
