Other remixers here include lauded beatsmith Clams Casino, dark-pop favorites Phantogram, IDM experimentalist Squarepusher, While White Pony’s 20th Anniversary Edition is an opportunity for Deftones to reflect on their legacy, the band continues to explore new possibilities for heavy music. In September, they released their ninth album, Ohms, to widespread acclaim, and currently seeing year-end list inclusion across the media landscape from the likes of The La Times, VULTURE, NME, REVOLVER (#1), Metal Hammer (Album Of The Year), The Line Of Best Fit, Consequence of Sound, Kerrang! and more. Ohms entered the UK Chart at number 5 and the US Billboard Top 200 at No. 5, making it Deftones’ fourth Top 5 debut and sixth to make it into the Top 10. Black Stallion is yet another testament to the band’s constant reinvention, one that celebrates their past while moving boldly into the future. BLACK STALLION TRACKLIST: Follow Deftones: |
