The 80’s brought us so much, movies like ET and Star Wars, video games, and the all important mix tape. But what it also brought us was great enduring music. One of the biggest bands to come from that era was Bon Jovi. They released a string of blockbuster albums starting off with the self-titled release Bon Jovi, back in 1984 and continued on with 7800 Fahrenheit, Slippery When Wet, New Jersey and Keep The Faith among many others.
Now some thirty five plus years late Jon Bon Jovi and his group are still releasing music and touring. Their latest fifteen date tour brought them to Tampa’s Amalie Arena. Throughout their two plus hour long performance, they turned back time with hit songs like “You Give Love A Bad Name”, “Born To Be My Baby”, and “I’ll Be There For You”. They also played songs from their most recent album 2020. For fans of Bon Jovi, it was a treat to see him still on stage flashing that million megawatt smile and doing his best to entertain everyone.
