Welcome To Rockville 2020 The Biggest Yet

Accomplishing anything ten years in a row is a big deal. But when you do it successfully and create a legacy at the same time, well that’s huge. Danny Wimmer Presents has done just that with one of the jewels in their festival crown, Welcome to Rockville!

For ten years running, they have taken one of the premiere music festivals in the United States and built success upon success with it. Every year in its existence, the masterminds at Danny Wimmer Presents have poured all sorts of magical elixirs into its cauldron and stirred up something bigger and badder each and every year.

For this year, the extraordinary tenth year running, they have uncorked their best effort yet. In order to pull off their master plan, they needed to make one adjustment, a move to a new location. Yes, the festival is leaving its long time home in Jacksonville for a new home just down the road in Daytona Beach, Florida, to the Daytona International Speedway. With the move to the home of the classic stock car race the Daytona 500, this now allows even more folks to see this amazing event that kicks off the festival season. Another benefit is an area that can handle all the fans coming to town. But the biggest reason for all of this is the lineup that has been uncorked!

Two nights with two different sets of the legendary Metallica! Yes, two of the three days of this festival will feature Metallica headlining. The other day will feature another hard rocking act and fan favorite Disturbed. But these three bands aren’t all you get; the likes of Social Distortion, Motionless In White, Dropkick Murphy’s, Deftones, Staind, Alter Bridge, Godsmack, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and so many more bands will be there over the course of three days to give you the weekend of all weekends!
