Dirty Heads and 311 Co-Headline Summer Tour at the DTE Energy Music Theatre
311 © John SwiderClarkston, Michigan (July 5, 2019) – Tonight, DTE Energy Music Theatre played host to the ageless hip-hop rockers 311 and reggae stalwarts, Dirty Heads, on their scheduled co-headlining Summer Tour stop. Adding to the evening fun were special guests The Interrupters, and tour regulars, Dreamers and Bikini Trill.

With their 13th studio album, Voyager, scheduled for release in July, 311 found the perfect opportunity to serve up a bit of new music along with some recognizable hits such as “Down,” “Beautiful Disaster,” and “Amber”. Front-man Nick Hexum and the bands energetic performance proved why they have been a stellar live band since the early nineties and continue to tour today.

Tour counterparts Dirty Heads also had few new tracks to showcase during their set from their forthcoming LP, Super Moon – which hits the airwaves August 9th. Even the hot, steamy night couldn’t hinder the smooth hip-hop, reggae beats the fans were enjoying during their one-hour and 15-minute sonic, “Vacation”
