Postmodern Jukebox Wows At Ruth Eckerd Hall
Clearwater FL. (April, 5th)
Are you a fan of today’s top hit songs, whether its pop, rock, or any other current style? But also enjoy Jazz, Big Band, and even the occasional torch song? Then Postmodern Jukebox should be put firmly on your radar. Postmodern Jukebox was founded by pianist Scott Bradlee in 2011. PMJ as they are known, rework today’s hit songs into vintage styles. Filming his reworks and putting them onto YouTube caught on quickly and garnered them millions of views in their first year alone.
On April 5th Postmodern Jukebox made their way to Clearwater Florida’s Ruth Eckerd Hall to wow the crowd. With a packed house and many of them dressed in 50’s era garb the excitement was high for this show. With a horn section, multiple lead singers, a drummer, guitarist and bassist, and of course Scott Bradlee on piano, PMJ wowed their unique brand of music. If that wasn’t enough, they even had a tap dancer on stage as well. The night was not only a feast for the ears, but the eyes as well.
