Detroit,Michigan (September 20,2022)-New York’s Anthrax started Saturday night at The Fillmore Detroit with video tribute from a massive list of legends that included Gene Simmons, Robert Trujillo, Henry Rollins, Slash, Phil Anselmo, Chuck D, and Brann Dailor of Atlanta’s Mastodon who took turns bestowing thier praises on this legendary metal outfit. Winding down the U.S. leg of their 40th Anniversary World Tour, what greeted the band in the Motor City was an energetic, sold out venue packed to the rafters with metal heads clamoring to see one of “The Big Four” one last time. As Scott Ian most eloquently announced to the crowd, “Detroit, you motherf…er’s have never let us down. On every tour since we started, Detroit you have been on it.
