St. Louis, MO (September 8th, 2019) – The Ready Room was packed full as bands such as Liily, Ultra Q, and Bad Suns were set to play on the Mystic Truth Tour. A band that stood out on the tour was Los Angeles based band, Liily. The band consists of vocalist Dylan Nash, guitarist Sam De La Torre, bass player Charlie Anastasis and drummer Maxx Morando. The band is a hard-hitting alt-rock band that has the same dynamic sounds as The Ramones or the Sex Pistols.
Liily released an EP in 2019 called I Can Fool Anybody In This Town which includes songs such as The Weather and Sepulveda Basin. They played two songs off of this EP, Toro and Sold. The crowd had the chance to hear songs that haven’t been released yet. One of the songs is set to be released Friday September 13th!
The set Liily performed was hard hitting and dynamic, capturing the attention of everyone in the venue. Liily has such a fresh intense sound that is for sure to wow anyone and everyone. The hard riffs and lights mixed to give a moody feeling, yet the tempo kept everyone moving their heads and bodies. Dylan, the lead singer, seemed to top the mood off with the way he worked the stage and crowd. They all seem to mesh into one as the music starts and become a part of the music.
St. Louis was the second stop of the tour which means you still can catch Liily on the Mystic Truth Tour. To find a date near you, visit Liily’s website. Be sure to catch them in concert and listen to their new song dropping Friday, September 13th!
