Nightly + Phangs

Pontiac, Michigan (March 20, 2019) – Tonight, the Crofoot in Pontiac, MI, hosted Nightly with support from Phangs for an incredible show on their first ever US headlining tour!

Kicking off the night, Phangs, also known as Jake Germany, took the stage with drummer and friend Tom Szoch. His entire performance was remarkable. From him sharing stories about his songs to interacting with the crowd, he made every person feel like they belonged. His set included his most popular song “Always Been U” featuring R.LUM.R, and an acoustic performance of my personal favorite “N°1 Loves You”.

Up next was Nightly. From the moment they took the stage to the end of their set the crowds energy was at an all time high. The trio, composed of cousins Joey Beretta (on guitar) and Jonathan Capeci (with the vocals) along with Nicholas Sainato (on drums) blew the crowd away! Every person in the room was singing and dancing along to every song and enjoying every minute of it. Their set included some older songs from their album Honest that was released in 2016, like “XO” and “No Vacancy”. They played some of their more recent releases such as my personal favorite “Younger” from their album The Sound of Your Voice released in 2018, and their most recent single “No Call, No Reply” released earlier this year. They also threw in an unreleased song that will be out within the upcoming weeks that is one to watch out for! Although the crowd was small, it made every fans experience more intimate and personal. The night was full of incredible talent and is definitely one that will not be forgotten.
