Alec Benjamin + Alexander 23

Detroit, Michigan (April 20, 2019) – Tonight Saint Andrew’s Hall located in downtown Detroit, MI hosted Alec Benjamin with support from Alexander 23 for a sold-out show on his Outrunning Karma Tour!

Up first, Alexander 23. Once he took the stage, the crowd knew exactly who he was and it is no surprise why. He currently only has one released song “Dirty AF1s” that was released March 14, 2019 and already with over 750 thousand streams on Spotify. After watching his performance on stage it is obvious to tell that is where he belongs. Throughout his set he did not fail to interact with the crowd and make the entire room feel as if they were front and center. His set included “Dirty AF1s”, a cover of Alicia Keys “If I Ain’t Got You”, and a number of unreleased songs.

Next up to the stage, Alec Benjamin. Alec first began releasing music back in 2013 with his first mixtape EP, America. He continued releasing music and began touring with artists like Jon Bellion and Hoodie Allen. In November, 2018 he released his first full length album, Narrated For You. Earlier this year he released a remix of his hit song “Let Me Down Slowly” in collaboration with rising pop star Alessia Cara. Based on tonights show, it is no surprise as to why he is selling out shows on his first headlining tour. The crowd did not fail to sing and dance along to every song. His set included some fan favorites like “1994” and “Swim” and a few of his biggest hits such as “Let Me Down Slowly”, “Boy in the Bubble”, and “If We Have Each other”.
