Detroit, Michigan (March 3, 2018) – SoMo, accompanied by special guests, Caye and Kid Quill, amazed the crowd tonight with impeccable performances at Saint Andrew’s Hall in downtown Detroit, MI, on The Reservations Tour.
The show began with Kid Quill, also known as Mitchell Quilleon Brown. He first gained a following after the release of his debut album, Ear to Ear, in June 2014, that charted in the Top 40 iTunes Hip-Hop/ Rap charts. Quill released his first studio album, The Name Above the Title, in October 2016 which made it to the top ten on iTunes Hip-Hop charts. In September 2017 he released his second studio album, 94.3 The Reel, which also landed in iTunes top ten. The crowd was far beyond excited for the show to begin; once he took the stage everyone screamed so loud one could lose their hearing. His set included a crowd favorite “The Opener” and a special song, “White Shoes”, dedicated to his mom, who was there at the show. By the end of his set, everyone was so intrigued and loved him so much they began chanting for an encore, wanting more!
Next up was Caye. The alternative/indie artist gained fame after the release of his single, “Coma” featuring Anibal, in 2015 with over 3.6 million plays on Spotify. Once Caye got on stage, the crowd had so much energy that they couldn’t contain their screaming and singing to songs, whether they knew the lyrics or not. Everyone was mesmerized by his smooth verses and the sound of the steel pan. His set included his single “Top Shelf” and his single “With U”.

In March 2017, he released his third album, The Answers. And most recently, in September 2017, he released My Life lll. The R&B singer has been selling out shows all across the United States since. Throughout his entire set, the crowd couldn’t help but sing every word to every song, including some of his biggest hits, “Ride” and “Hide & Freak” featuring Trey Songz. He also sang some fan favorites like, “Just a Man” and “Dial”. The crowd consisted of teens to adults, men to women, all singing, dancing, and cheering with a smile on their face. A show no R&B fan wanted to miss!
