Jordan Davis + Hailey Whitters @ Majestic Theatre, Detroit, MI

Detroit, Michigan (January 25, 2020) Jordan Davis, UMG Nashville recording artist, made a stop at Majestic Theatre in Detroit, MI  as part of his sold-out #Trouble Town Tour tonight. His special guest this evening was the mesmerizing Hailey Whitters.

Iowa born, now Nashville-based, Whitters has toured with the likes of Brent Cobb, Maren Morris and Lori McKenna; and now add Jordan Davis to that impressive list. She released her debut album, Black Sheep, in 2015, and has since written songs for Little Big Town, Alan Jackson, and Martina McBride. You will be able to catch her later this spring with Tanya Tucker and Scooter Jennings., as well as Stagecoach! Whitters is one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, Class of 2020. I’d say she is definitely one to keep an eye on!!

Tonight, Hailey dazzled fans, old and new alike, with “Heartland“, “Dream, Girl“, and “Red Wine & Blue“, giving us a nice sample from her The Days (2019) EP.

Hailey is releasing a 12-song LP, The Dream, February 28, 2019.

31-year-old Jordan Davis, just came onto the scene in 2017. Fast and furious, Davis was signed to Universal Music Group Nashville and released his debut single “Singles You Up” in mid-2017, and followed it up with two more single releases, “Take It From Me” in March of 2018, and “Slow Dance in a Parking Lot” in May 2018. He went on to release his debut LP, Home State, March 23, 2018. Davis has since collaborated with Julia Michaels for a single, “Cool Anymore“, released 11/08/19.

Davis started the night with the high-energy “Trouble Town“. His energy was unstoppable from start to finish; his stage presence being second to none. With an infectious smile that lights up the room – he had the ladies eating out of the palm of his hand. Davis is the perfect blend of country + pop. Tonight’s crowd was made of up all demographics – there’s no doubt that Jordan made a new fan, or a hundred tonight!  The passion for his music and fans could be read all over his face. Mid-set Jordan stopped to talk about his wife, Kristen O’Connor, and new baby girl, that was just born in November 2019.
