Beginning on May 11th, the group will set off on the DNA World Tour – their biggest arena tour in 18 years. When this group started 26 years ago – and through all the highs and lows of our career – we’ve had to learn it wasn’t about us as individuals but about what’s best for the group”, says Howie D.

That’s what I love about this album,” adds Kevin Richardson. “We were able to bring all of our influences and styles into one coherent piece of work. These songs are a great representation of who we are as individuals and who we are as a group. It’s our DNA. We’re really proud of that.”

The journey is ongoing with us and there is so much left to do,” says Brian Littrell. “We’re living the next chapter that hasn’t been told yet, and that’s exciting.”

After 14 months of setting and breaking records in Las Vegas, BSB’s residency “Backstreet Boys: Larger Than Life” will come to an end on April 27, 2019.

Vegas has been amazing and these next set of dates are going to be a party,” says Howie D. “Then it’s time for us to visit our fans all over the world.”

If you don’t know me in person, you’d be shocked to see that I am over 6’ tall

I work: I own Splice Media Group

I enjoy: photography!

Goals/Dreams: To be the next Rolling Stone!

Niche:
Tell us about your style, and what you contribute to Splice that makes you unique
My photography style is candid. I don’t necessarily like to pose people; I much prefer the raw beauty that I can capture when the subject isn’t paying any attention to me.

Splice (Bucket) List: Adele, Norah Jones, Sarah McLachlan, Guns n Roses, Kiss, Styx, REO Speedwagon, Def Leppard, Journey, Foreigner (again), Bob Seger, Ann Wilson (again), James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, Reba McEntire, Montgomery [Gentry], Little Big Town, Kid Rock, Zac Brown Band, Greta Van Fleet, Ozzy Osbourne …. I could go on all day!

Guilty Pleasures: The Oak Ridge Boys, Statler Brothers, Jimmy Fortune, Cristy Lane, Couponing, Dr. Phil, Smoked oysters, Steak with Blue Cheese Crumbles, Chewy Brownies …

If you could photograph any concert in history, what would it be? Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Conway Twitty

My favorite TV show is: This is Us

Favorite food: Steak

My dream car is: Cherry Red Jeep Wrangler

An interesting fact about me that people don’t expect is: If you don’t know me in person, you’d be shocked to see that I am over 6’ tall. I have Bell’s Palsy.

When you’re not photographing great concerts, writing about them, interviewing artists, doing album reviews… what can we find you doing? Spending time with friends and family. Flying my stunt kite. Doing something crafty. Enjoying the outdoors.

The WOW factor. I want Splice’s audience to have the experience as if they were at the concert themselves through my lens.

Splice (Bucket) List: Oh my, such a long list here, but I’ll keep it short: Rolling Stones, Metallica, Alice In Chains, Kenny Chesney, Alison Krauss, Paul McCartney, Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie, ZZ Top, Mark Lanegan, Red Wanting Blue

Guilty Pleasures: Going to the movies with a large bucket of buttered popcorn

The last concert I attended was: Joe Satriani G3 Tour 2018 at the Hard Rock Rocksino

If I could have attended any concert in history, I’d go back in time and see: Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Elvis, Sex Pistols, Buck Owens, Waylon Jennings, Chuck Berry

Favorite non-photography activity? Aside from my family, I really enjoy attending motorsport events, airshows and hot rod cruise nights during the summer. Camera in hand of course!

What was the first concert you photographed? The Reverend Horton Heat was my first time photographing a concert

If you could photograph any concert in history, what would it be? Tough question, as I wish I could have photographed both Soundgarden & Nirvana

If you could photograph any concert in history, what would it be? I’ll always regret not getting into concert photography until after Finch broke up.

My most treasured possession is: My picture collection, going all the way back to my 35mm film camera from the 90s.

My biggest pet peeve is: When people drive slowly down the on-ramp and stop at the bottom. The ramp is there for you to speed up, not slow down.

My favorite place in the world is: New Orleans
